Profile

I obtained a dual BA degree in Business Management and Information Management at the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield in 2009.

I then completed a MSC in Information Systems at º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield’s Information School in 2010 where I did my dissertation analysing the effectiveness of browser-based conceptual mini-games on learning in the mathematics field.

I worked as a freelance UX designer before starting my PhD. Throughout my PhD I have worked as a teaching assistant on various Business/Information System related modules.


PhD project

Title: "Educational games and their impact on mathematics anxiety in º£½ÇÉçÇø students."

My research aims to identify the extent to which mathematics computer games affect mathematics anxiety in º£½ÇÉçÇø students, and furthermore understand the gameplay mechanics, design features and themes of games that affect mathematics anxiety while students play.
