I work in a split role as a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology on the DClinPsy course in the Clinical and Applied Psychology Unit (CAPU) on Monday-Wednesday and as a researcher in the Psychological Health Observatory within the Grounded Research team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber (RDASH) NHS trust on Thursday-Friday. I am a member of the Psychotherapy Evaluation and Research Lab at Sheffield (PEARLS) based in CAPU.

My research interests are personalised precision medicine approaches to mental health treatment to support improved patient care and outcomes. My research focuses on evaluating and predicting outcomes for psychological therapies using large datasets and the development of technology to support treatment delivery in routine care, such as psychotherapy progress feedback systems. I have a particular interest in the use of quantitative methods including meta-analysis, single case experimental design, network analysis and predictive modelling using machine learning.

Teaching roles include delivering DClinPsy sessions on research methods, such as SCED and meta-analysis workshops, and Academic Tutor and Thesis Research Supervisor for DClinPsy trainees. I am also part of the DClinPsy selection team.
