I am a Research Assistant at the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Sheffield working on an intervention programme called 'The ONE' project, which is being delivered in collaboration with the º£½ÇÉçÇø of Oxford. The ONE project focuses on training early years practitioners to engage children in play-based activities that support maths skills. The intervention aims to examine the benefits of developing cognitive skills, called executive functions, within the context of mathematics development.

I am interested in how socioeconomic attainment gaps in early maths skills emerge, with particular focus on high-level cognitive skills, such as executive functions and early maths development in young children.
